Why Jesus is troubling to you.

Is Jesus troubling to you? At His birth He is troubling to all of Israel. Why? What made the birth of their King troubling? The wise men are seeking Jesus to worship Him. This is what is troubling to King Herod and Israel—Worship. The King of the Jews is not subject to politics. He is to be worshipped. Not just by Jews. But by everyone in the world, even wise men from the east. Worship is troubling to Satan. Satan is willing to give up everything for Jesus’ worship. Why is worship troubling? Because the truest act of worship is the offering of our bodies and our lives. Even King Herod is to be subject to this king. This is what is troubling. Does worship trouble you?
