How to Never Be DECEIVED‏ (Part 3)

Self deception is the supreme deception. Every other lie comes from lying to yourself. Hear and obey God’s word. This is the only way to never deceive yourself. Do this, right now: “Submit to God, resist the devil and he will flee from you.” (James 4:7) Say an unconditional yes to God, and an unconditional no to the devil. Right now. Do it. God commands it! If you read it and don’t do it, you are, at this moment, deceiving yourself. “I don’t have to do what you say Olatunde!” some may say. No you don’t. But I don’t command this. God does. And there is never a time this command shouldn’t be obeyed. At every moment in your life, you should submit to God and resist the devil. Right now. A few minutes from now. Do it now. If you don’t always take into account your Creator and your enemy, you will believe something about yourself that is lie. You will be believe you’re ok, without actively submitting to God, and without actively resisting the devil. Self deception is the supreme deception. Every other lie comes from lying to yourself.
