The only way to always make the right decision is to follow The Holy Spirit!
The word of God describes the will of God as “good, acceptable, and perfect.”
This means that EVERYONE involved in the situation will receive the good, acceptable, and perfect solutions when we follow the Holy Spirit. This doesn’t mean everyone will LIKE God’s will, or even WANT TO DO IT. It does mean, by definition, that the will of God is good FOR EVERYONE!
It is the rule that if everyone is society followed it, we would experience heaven on earth, the utopia we fail over and over to create through human governments, the greatest good for every single human on earth, past present and future, and it is the way we all want to be treated.
If all I want for you, and all you want for me, is the good, acceptable, and perfect will of God, how could we ever have a problem with each other?
“Well, Olatunde, that all sounds well and good IN THEORY. But THE ISSUES is KNOWING WHAT GOD’S GOOD, ACCEPTABLE, AND PERFECT WILL IS IN THE FIRST PLACE!
Jesus addressed this. He said if anyone wants to do God’s will, they will know when a teaching is from God or man.
The apostle Paul said that be rejecting this world and renewing our minds, we can approve the good, acceptable, and perfect will of God.
Jesus also said if we keep His word, we are His true disciples; that we would know the truth (God's will,) and the truth will set us free.
In other words, we can know God's will if want to, AND ONLY IF WE WANT TO.
Whether making moral or ethical decisions, the ONLY WAY to ALWAYS MAKE the right decision is to follow the Holy Spirit.
His leading will always agree with Jesus Christ The Incarnate Word and the written word, which is the testimony of Jesus.
It will always bring about the greatest good for EVERY PERSON.
It is the rule that everyone should follow.
It is best way to treat people like you wanted to be treated.
Always follow the Spirit, and you will always make the right decision. (Click HERE for part 3)
