Something you may not know about God (that you need to know!) PART 1‏

It is written, “The LORD is with you while you are with Him. If you seek Him, He will allow you to find Him, but if you forsake Him, He will forsake you.” You may not know that God treats you the way you treat Him! Yes, God is love. Yes, God loves you unconditionally, even if you are His enemy. But this does not change the truth: God responds to you. It is also written, “Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.” This means you can be as close to God as you want to be. It can NEVER be said that you pursued intimacy with God and He rejected you. Never. Ever. In fact, as it is also written, “We love God because He first loved us.” If we have any desire for God AT ALL, it’s because He is drawing us with His desire! But if we refuse Him, He will refuse us. He will not eternally pursue us. This should do three things for us: 1) Humble us. 2) Encourage us 3)Convict us. (FIND OUT HOW! READ PART 2!)
