How to Never Be DECEIVED‏ (Part 2)

Hear and obey God’s word. This is the only way to never deceive yourself. As it is written, “Do not merely listen to the word and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.” (James 1:22 NIV) Many of God’s children listen to sermons with no intention of application. We hear, “Love God with all your heart and soul and strength,” but we forget God before we leave the church building, even before the sermon ends! Many sermons have no intention of application for those who listen. Hear and obey God’s word. This is the only way to never deceive yourself.
