Is she offending Jesus? (Part 1)

“We’re all worshipping the same God,” she explains to Jesus. “But these are just my thoughts. If I’m offending you, I’m sorry.”

Jesus silently listened.

“It doesn’t really matter whether you’re a Buddhist, or Muslim, or Hindu. We’re all going to the same destination really.”

I’m thinking, “Is she offending You? How can you stand here and listen to her negate you like that?”

“She doesn’t know what she’s talking about most of the time. This time is no different.”

“I feel you. On one hand, I want to show her how each ‘religion’ by definition is exclusive and thus contradict each other. On the other hand, I just want her to realize she’s talking to God in the flesh right now! How can she not know that? Can’t people feel You when they’re with you?”

“If they want to. But it’s no different from you talking to her and her completely missing your thoughts and emotions. If she can’t love you, how can she love me? If she doesn’t feel you, how can she feel Me?”

“So it’s all in the will.”

“All of it. People see what they want to see. She is seeing what she wants to see.”

All of this happened in my mind and Jesus’ mind while she talked on and on about herself. She wasn’t listening to us, or even with us. She was in her head. Alone. We’re watching her watching herself. It’s like we’re not even there. But we wait for her to finish….
