The ONLY WORK YOU Should Be Doing For God (Part 3)

DO GOD GIVEN TASKS
Bezalel wasn't a singer or preacher.  How often do we let people sing who have no singing ability whatsoever, letting her lead the choir?  We don't do that with the "food ministry" of course!  But we'll let people preach or sing or teach who have not been chosen, who are not Spirit filled, and have no skill, ability, or knowledge from God.  They may have a degree, or even natural talent in these areas.  But this is not what Bezalel had.

God gave Bezalel a specific job:  craftsmanship.  Bezalel was a craftsman.  He had skill, ability, and knowledge in all kinds of crafts.  His job description was very specific:  he had skill, ability and knowledge to make artistic designs for work in gold, silver and bronze, to cut and set stones, to work in wood, and to engage in all kinds of craftsmanship.

This man Bezalel was chosen specifically and individually by God, filled with God's Spirit, and given skill, ability, and knowledge from God in all kinds of crafts, to engage in all kinds of craftsmanship.

God even appointed a helper for Bezalel:  Oholiab son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan, to help him. Again, God is calling a specific individual.  Not just any old Israelite.  And God gave skill to all "the craftsmen" to make the things God wanted Moses to make.  Whoever these "craftsmen" were, Moses knew them, and so did everyone else.  They were craftsmen, not cooks or plumbers.
