What Distinguishes God's People?

"If your Presence does not go with us, do not send us up from here.  How will anyone know that you are pleased with me and your people unless you go with us?  What else will distinguish me and your people from all other people on the face of the earth?"  Exodus 33:15-16

"What church do you go to?"

This is THE question I'm constantly asked by believers and unbelievers.  They want to know what group or denomination or Bible version I read.  Whether I'm a Calvinist or Armenian.  Baptist or Methodist.  Tongues or Cessasionist.  Premillenial or Amillienial.  Democrat or Republican.  Conservative or Liberal.

All these titles.  All these distinctions.
None having to do with God, His Son, or His presence.

What distinguishes God's people from all the other people on the face of the earth?

According to Moses, the man whom God spoke to face to face as one speaks to a friend, it is ONLY the presence of God.  That's what distinguished Moses.  That's what distinguished Israel.

It's what distinguishes me, you who believe in Jesus, and the body of Christ in the world.
Not our Bible versions or denominations or political associations.

God's presence.
Alone.
Distinguishes God's people from all the people on the face of the earth.
